Don't forget that next week's market on August 16 will have a bake sale tent to benefit Serenity Animal Sanctuary. While you're picking up your wholesome fruits and veggies, why don't you buy some sugary goodness from the bake sale and help out some needy doggies and kitties?
Here's the recap for August 2:
- Patrice Chandler and Eric Atchison held down the Friends Tent. Thanks, y'all, for coming in on such short notice!
- Nancy Sellers made a deeee-licious watermelon salsa for everybody to snack on. It was so popular, in fact, that she sold five jars of it at the August 9 market.
- Farmers present/represented: The Apple Farm, Mr. Smitty, Mr. Toole, the Sellers Gang, and the Gregorys. The Gregorys were new to the market, and they brought two hundred pounds of gorgeous tomatoes!
